Biscayne Bay to Palmetto and Decommission

We changed oil at the 50 hour break-in period while anchored in Biscayne Bay and then enjoyed the beach. We sailed to Boca Chita and tied up for the night at this lovely National Park site. Some blustery weather was forecast so we sailed back up to the Dinner Key mooring field to wait for favorable winds, poised to head south, in Hawk Channel to Rodrigues Key.

Rodrigues Key to Marathon anchoring off the western beach outside the harbor. Got a mooring ball. Volunteered with Habitat For Humanity along with ...... repairing hurricane damage. Visits with my cousin Nancy. Volunteered with the Marathon Seafood Festival. Key West visits.

Marathon to a quiet anchoring in the Gulf off the coast then on to Factory Bay, Naples and red tide, then to John's Pass to anchor off the Cortez Coast Guard Station.

Visit with T&V, rescuing a grounded boat that broke free.

Moved to ...... Marina.

Desoto Point and the re-enactment. Then to Snead Island Boatyard.

Engine check with ...... and sail to Edisto Key with the kids.

Decommission.
